All good advice. Like it or not, mobile, and SEO are needed if you want attention from the search engines today. Just be ready for rules that change by the day.
I only came across Hummingbird very recently, had a quick look and bookmarked it for future perusal. I'm glad I checked out this thread because it reminds me that my intuition was correct that this would be of importance. I feel better informed now. Thanks everyone.

Vishwajeet, I agree and disagree with you on this one...Google doesn't follow it's own polices as far as it's own sites if that was the case one could just mimic how they do their sites. People like me will through as much money as possible to some young insider to get the results we need. I will say that useful and entertaining content and not paying attention to Google is doing will be the key because Google has it's best interest at heart not yours. Thanks for the share.

The bottom line in plain talk is people better start learning how to put useful content out there to engage your audience. Soon all the bad useless promotions will be thrown in the trash along with questionable companies. Thanks.
