@Oswald - That means Apostle Paul gave men good advice. Why do men still marry then? Is it insanity to choose to live in a couple and lose your freedom? Ken, you are right. It depends who you share your life with.
@Otilia - in that case, why did the Apostle Paul advise men to stay single, sane and free? Being a wise man, he wouldn't be dishing out bad advice, would he?
I am happier as a married man than as a bachelor. I have a wife, children, in-laws, etc. Collectively, we are a family and we are happy together; happier than when I was a bachelor.
A lot of people actually opine that bachelors are indeed happier. There are even websites dedicated to "happy bachelors" such as happybachelorsforum . com and eternalbachelor . blogspot . com
They are quite informative and entertaining.
No, they cannot be happier. Loneliness is costly as they can't continue to enjoy the euphoria of associating with temporary and fake people they go all over the place with. Genuine love can only be expressed with a wife. At old age, it becomes more difficult as the longing for companionship becomes more pronounced. The aged tend to be forgotten in their old age troubles.
I'm not a man but I guess it will be YES for that:) Because most married people are usually have a piece of mind and being settled and ready for family.

Bachelors' freedom, independence and happiness is proportionally compensated by old age loneliness, dependance and sadness.
