Needling can be beautiful.

It’s no secret that advanced cosmetic treatments are miracles. The cosmetic physicians achieve credibility in skincare treatments using minimally invasive and hardly discomforting ultrafine needles.

Microneedling treatment is its best example. It is an interesting cosmetic procedure that involves a dermaroller device. It has small needles on its surface to prick the skin that you hardly feel. This stinging-like sensation signals the brain, which transmits a message through blood to do the needful.

This needful can be smoothing wrinkles, removing scars and injuries, which are hard to get off with topical creams and ointments.

Microneedling Is Good to Remove Wrinkles/Scars/Large Pores

This cosmetic procedure retriggers collagen production by causing micro-punctures, which you cannot visualise. Also called collagen induction therapy, it brings along some amazing results in rejuvenating skin, cells turnover and fading stretch marks or acne scars.

Simply put, this revolutionary anti-aging procedure can help your skin exfoliate and regenerate new cells to keep aging effects at bay.

Although there are some other home treatments, like chemical peeling, yet they may not satisfy you with the results. But, this groundbreaking procedure responds really well and you have dramatic improvements in your look that is noticeable.

How Does It Work?

This technique is all about collagen, which is a protein that strengthens our skin and keeps it plump and radiant. As we get older, we produce less of it. The pinpricking of dermapen calls to boost its production. Thereupon, you see new skin tissues, forming it more even in tone and texture.

With tiny needles puncturing, your skin starts stimulating collagen. The connective tissues begin to tighten up on the surface. The best thing is that it can be done at home using derma rollers. But, what size of the needle can offer better results-only an experienced dermatologist can tell.

Procedure At Skin Clinic

You should meet the expert doctor and discuss about your expectations. The professionals explain its procedure beforehand so that you can be psychologically prepared for it.

The treatment begins with the application of a topical anesthetic all over your target area. It rests there for an hour so that it will start showing up its numbing effect, which reduces the chances of pain.

Then, he pinpricks the skin with a pen-like tool. These punctures are microscopic that you likely won’t notice even after the procedure. He moves the device evenly across your skin so that it can rejuvenate. It all ends up with the application of a serum to calm down the sensation. In all, you spend one or two hours at least.

If it is for removing stretch marks, the doctor may apply dermal fillers on the thighs or abdominal area. In short, you can remove scarring with it.

Not Good For Patients/Pregnant Women

This technique is good for healthy people. But, if you have any condition, disclose it to the doctor prior. However, it is not an ideal cosmetic treatment for:

·         Pregnant women

·         Those who have certain skin diseases, such as psoriasis or eczema

·         Those who have open wounds

·         Those who have had cancer

·         Those who have a history of skin scars

This is an amazing way for facelift. But, skin irritation and redness are some signs that you may experience after that for few days. Being not so deep and pronounced, you can camouflage it with makeup. Do wear sunscreen while going out.
