• To remove tooth enamel and tissue: This process is also called air rotor stripping which is intended to improve teeth alignment and long-term maintenance. • To remove some parts of a tooth where there may be a need to create greater margins  Air rotor handpiece rotates and uses its high speed to cut the surface efficiently with less pressure, vibration and heat generation. Patients are also less apprehensive as the procedure doesn't take much time.
