In the co-headliner, Daniel Cormier and Dan Henderson will battle for light heavyweight No. 1 contender status. And then you have sluggers Robbie Lawler and Jake Ellenberger also on the card.

It's going to be interesting to see if the Team Alpha Male-trained Dillashaw can trouble him at all with his crisp stand up and strong takedowns.

Check out all the information you need regarding UFC 173: “Barao vs. Dillashaw,” which takes place TONIGHT (Sat., May 24, 2014) from MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The main attractions feature a bantamweight championship match between Renan Barao vs. T.J. Dillashaw, as well as a potential light heavyweight title eliminator bout between Dan Henderson vs. Daniel Cormier. The main card can be seen only on pay-per-view (PPV), while the “Prelims” under card can be viewed on FOX Sports 1 and “Fight Pass” digital network.

Barao has been steamrolling through his opposition, undefeated inside the Octagon with a promotional record of 7-0. In fact, the current 135-pound champion hasn't lost since 2005, racking up a whopping 32 victories, not to mention being unfazed by any sort of damage taken in his Zuffa tenure.

The original main event was supposed to be Chris Weidman against Vitor Belfort for the middleweight strap, yet Nevada's testosterone-replacement therapy (TRT) ban canceled those plans. "All American" was then expected to face Lyoto Machida, but the champion suffered an injury and their bout was moved to UFC 175.

The new main event was going to be Barao against Raphael Assuncao, but the latter suffered a rib injury and pulled out of the fight. Meanwhile, Dillashaw was expected to face Takeya Mizugaki before his main event inclusion. The Japanese standout now meets Francisco Rivera on the PPV main card.
