The Kardashian Sisters – Style File

The Kardashian sisters comprise of Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, Kendal and Kylie. These five girls have shown us a lot in the style stakes, especially with regards to the older sisters. Kim Kardashian is probably the most famous of the sisters, but each of them are equally stylish. They often feature in both best and worst dressed lists, but these girls all know how to dress-up to the nines.

The girls regularly add fashion tights to their outfits to give them a unique edge. Khloe recently upped her sex-appeal by wearing a pair of Henry Holland suspender tights with a revealing black dress which showed off a lot of cleavage. The coverage of the tights prevented the dress from making her look cheap, instead her look was rather classy as she did not have as much flesh on show by wearing the almost totally opaque tights. Wearing opaque suspender-style tights is a great way to keep your outfit sexy but demure by reducing the amount of skin you have on show.

Kim and Kourtney have been even more experimental with their tights. Kim recently stepped out in sheer black polka dot tights, while Kourtney wore the Wolford Cheetah tights with a black long sleeved playsuit. Both girls are relatively short and Kim is currently a lot curvier than Kourtney. However, both of them looked equally fantastic in their choice of legwear. These girls prove you can wear patterned tights whatever your size.

When wearing bold patterns, such as Kourtney’s Wolford Cheetah tights it is best to keep the rest of your outfit simple and in a similar colour palette to the print you are wearing. This allows the animal print to stand out on its own and for you to shine as the centre of attention.  When accessorising, it is possible to coordinate your animal print with a small handbag of the same print, but make sure your handbag isn’t too big, or the look will get messy. For a larger bag, keep the fabric plain or leather.

The two younger Kardashian sisters, Kendall and Kylie, who actually have the last name Jenner, are also beginning to get noticed for their fashionable outfits. Both have recently launched modelling careers and so have been pushed forward into the lime light. Kendall was recently spotted wearing ripped leggings paired with a white cropped vest and converse trainers. This is a look that can be easily recreated by teenage girls to keep themselves on trend in their casual style. Similarly Kylie has been spotted in black tights patterned with large white stars, this is another look which can be cheaply bought and adapted to emulate Kylie’s style.

The Kardashians seem to live by one rule; don’t care what others think. This is a great rule to follow when dressing and putting outfits together. It is great to experiment and tights are a cheap, fun way to do this. Perhaps you will try something and one day regret wearing it, but on the whole experimenting with tights will unleash your creativity and give your outfits an attention grabbing twist.
