Before in Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) only engineering courses are offered. But now the situation has been changed. For all the candidates those who want to do research in pure science and applied science Indian Institute of Technology is a stage for them. At their situation it has become easy to do Msc, Joint M.sc, PhD, M.sc – PhD Dual degree, post bachelor degree in basic sciences. But to do those related courses the candidates must write ‘IIT – JAM’. To get succeed in the IIT- JAM which is called as joint admission test for MSC (JAM) there should be grip in subjects and should have self-confidence. To get a good future in the science field through IIT – JAM from the first year of the degree itself hard work must be there. AP CFMS

How the exam will be:-

IIT – JAM exam will be in the combination of objective and description type. Totally in eight subjects this exam is conducted. Among this biotechnology, computer application course exams are fully conducted in objective basis.

The remaining exams will be in objective and descriptive basis. In this situation, for objective questions 30% and for descriptive questions 70% weight age is allocated. For every paper 3 hours is allocated as duration. Questions paper will be only in English language. For every wrong answer 1/3 mark is reduced. So answering only for questions that are having full awareness will be best.
