When transporting a group of people from point A to point B, their safety should be your number one priority. The best route to go is to charter a minibus. They are professionals and they know the area well enough to ensure that you get to your destination in a timely manner.

By setting a list of precautionary measures in advance, you can avoid mishaps when on the road. We have come up with a set of rules so that your journey runs smoothly. Inform the passengers of the rules prior to entering the bus to set their expectations.

Safety Precautions

·         Remain seated when the vehicle is moving. There are a lot of accidents that can occur in a moving bus so it’s better to be safe.

·         Do not loiter in the aisle of the bus. Serious accidents can happen when people loiter in the aisles. If they don’t have a proper grip on something, they might fall and hit their head.

·         Wait until the driver tells you to enter the bus. There may be times when the driver is still preparing the vehicle for a full stop.

·         Secure baggage on the overhead bins. Falling cargo is an accident waiting to happen.

·         Avoid any loud noises that might distract the driver. The driver might not be able to hear incoming traffic and it could potentially get the vehicle into an accident.

·         Do not eat or drink while on the bus. Minibus rentals have rules when it comes to eating or drinking inside the bus. Spills and stains might require you to pay extra to the bus company.

·         Do not litter on the bus. Aside from litter being unsightly, litter could also potentially lead to people tripping. Keeping a clean and orderly bus is always the best policy. Throw any litter in assigned trash bins when the bus is in full stop.

·         Do not smoke while inside the bus. Its common courtesy to not smoke on the bus. Plus, you also won’t have any access to an ash tray.

·         Avoid being intoxicated while inside the bus. There are times when the ride isn’t smooth. This might lead people to get dizzy.

·         Exit the bus quickly at the assigned drop off spot. Avoid loitering on the bus after your journey has ended. Loitering might entail additional costs.

Insurance

Before getting a minibus charter, it is best to hire one that has an insurance coverage. All the good professional bus companies carry insurance for all the passengers of the bus.
