•
Federal Skilled Trades Program,
• Canadian
Experience Class,
Canada uses Express Entry
to accept and administer Canada permanent residence applications for three of
the country's most popular economic Canada immigration programs: FSWP, FSTP, and CEC. Certain PNP streams or paths are linked to Express
Entry in the Canada PNP.
What changes to Canada Express Entry are on the horizon?
The proposed revisions
call for a new version of the Express Entry system that allows IRCC to issue
ITAs based on criteria such as
·
Industry-related professions and
·
Specific academic credentials in Express
Entry draw
There will be more
flexibility in choosing applicants from the Express Entry pool now that the
adjustments have been implemented. After determining economic goals, IRCC will
be willing to welcome Express Entry candidates who are most qualified and have the
best chance of achieving those goals.
In the future, the IRCC
may hold Canada Express
Entry draws that target certain occupations based on the National
Occupation Classification (NOC) code. A new NOC code, NOC 2021 Version 1.0,
will be implemented in the second part of 2022. Instead of the current
four-digit NOC codes, the new NOC 2021 will use a five-digit system.
The necessary changes to Canada's
Express Entry system, which were brought to the Standing Committee on
Immigration and Citizenship on May 19, 2022, are now being debated in the
Canadian Parliament
The
federal department of Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada are in
charge of Express Entry (IRCC). Canadians who want to immigrate to the United
States can do so through Express Entry if they match the 67-point qualifying
criterion.
The
profiles are ranked using a 1,200-point Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS)
matrix once they have been added to the IRCC Pool. IRCC sends out invitations
to apply (ITA) to those who have the highest CRS scores.
Canada Express Entry draws are done on a regular basis, and ITAs are
distributed.
The Canadian government should be able
to accept individuals who can meet actual labour demands under the proposed
reform of the Express Entry system.
Beginning
in July, potential applicants will be able to apply for permanent residence in Canada
through the Express Entry system. Beginning in early July 2022, all-program
drawings will be reinstated. The great majority of new Express Entry
applications will be handled within the regular six-month timeframe.
