Treatments for pearly penile papules (PPP) are usually surgical and nonsurgical (also called "homeopathic"). I will cover both treatment options and explain briefly what are pearly penile papules.

Unlike STDs, such as genital warts and herpes genital virus (HSV-2), pearly penile papules are not a painful condition. Although it can be very unpleasant, pearly papules itself painless. There have been reports of discomfort or pain during sexual intercourse, but this occurs in extremely rare cases.

Treatments for pearly papules even vary greatly from treatments for genital herpes, although some of the surgical treatment is quite similar to the treatments used to remove genital warts.
