National Defence Academy (NDA) is a national level exam which is conducted twice in a year by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The exam is administered to hire applicants in Army, Navy and Air Force. The applicants have to qualify NDA Exam 2019 entrance examination in two-tries which are written test and SSB interview rounds. After qualifying, the written test applicants will also have to clear the SSB interview round. The applicants who get selected in the qualifying exam go through rigorous training of 3 years.

NDA Exam Eligibility Criteria:

• The main eligibility criteria to give NDA exam is a candidate must be a citizen of India, a subject of Bhutan, a subject of Nepal and the lists continue.

• Only those candidates are eligible to give the exam who are born not before 2nd July 1998 and not after 1st July 2001.

• Only male candidates are eligible to enrol for the exam.

• Marital Status: Only unmarried male candidates are fitted for the exam.

• Matriculation and Secondary School Leaving Certificate or a certificate recognized by an Indian University is needed.

• A Higher Secondary or an equivalent examination certificate.

NDA Exam 2019 Application Form:

NDA Exam 2019 Application Form for paper I and paper II will be available on its official website in an online mode. Applicants are required to enter the personal and educational details as per required in the NDA Exam 2019 Application Form.

Process to download NDA Exam 2019 Application Form:

Step 1: Visit the official website of  NDA i.e. upsconline.gov.in

Step 2: Register yourself by Providing all details that have been asked in part-I of the registration form.

Step 3: In Part-II, the candidate has to provide his/her personal, basic and contact details.

Step 4: Upload the pre-scanned copies of photograph and signature required by the university.

Step 5: At last, make the payment for successful submission of application form.

NDA 2019 Exam Pattern:

The NDA 2019 exam will be conducted in offline mode (pen and paper-based). NDA 2019 paper consists of two papers. Paper 1 will be mathematics test and Paper 2 will be General Ability Test. Exam pattern for NDA exam is Mulitple Choice Questions (MCQs). Time duration for NDA exam is 2 hours and 30 minutes. NDA 2019 Paper will be bilingual i.e., questions will be asked in both English and Hindi.

Marking Scheme:

For every right answer, aspirant will get 2.5 marks each.

And for every wrong answer, negative marking of 0.83 (Mathematics) and 1.33 (English & General knowledge) marks is done.
