Aluminum is the metal that is known as the material of option because of its intrinsic or inbuilt attributes. And these attributes are high strength, lessened weight, machinability, resistance, non sparkling, recyclability and formability.  As compared to the pre painted steel, the uncoated edges could peel and rust. Corrosion resistant aluminum renders beauty which is more than skin deep. On the contrary to post-painting operations, the pre painted aluminum offers noteworthy advantages in the domains of efficiency, flexibility and uniformity of product with pollution control and energy management.

Aluminum coil is a versatile and pre finished material which increases the performance and look of numerous products. All along a wide array of industries, producers depend on the value added advantages of pre-painted aluminum coil. And these advantages are versatile finish, ease of manufacture, cost effectiveness, and durability and reliability. All these attribute count up to a flawless product which makes the product highly efficient and convenient to be used in industries.

Among all the forms of aluminum, aluminum coil is a state of aluminum that is known for its exceptional qualities and properties they possess. It is a substance that is broadly used in industries and factories in various applications and purposes.

Flat rolled aluminum coil, one of the major usages of aluminum coil that is formed by the flat rolling process. There are various rolling processes, that is, roll bending, roll forming, flat rolling, ring rolling, structural shape rolling and controlled rolling. Among all these, flat rolling is sub categorized. And the sub category of flat rolling is, foil rolling. Foil rolling is a process in which the material is passed in between two rollers. These two rollers are called as working rollers, which rotate in opposite direction of each other. The gap in between the two rolls is lesser than the width or breadth of the starting material that causes it to distort.

To fine tune the procedure the speed of the rolls and the temperature of the rollers could be adjusted as per the requirement and demand of the flat rolled aluminum coil’s width and breadth. So as per the requirement and preference of the aluminum coil’s width and thickness, you could adjust the gap in between the rollers. More gap certainly leads to more thickened coil and lesser gap would lead to less thickened coil. So, maintaining appropriate amount of gap in between the rollers is extremely essential.
