Installation and setting up your HP Printer

This guide is intended to familiarise you with the installation and setting up your hp printer. You will learn hp printer driver installation, software configuration, USB, and wireless connection.

What you will need?

• A USB cable if you intend for setting up a USB connection.
• Power chords to connect with the power outlet.
• Papers and Ink cartridges.

• Bring out the printer from the box.
• Remove any sticking packaging material.
• Insert the power cable and connect it to a power supply.

• Head to 123.hp.com/setup page.
• Open download section.
• Specify your printer’s model in the search box.
• Click the download button next to the driver and software files.

• Open the download folder and locate the hp software installer.

• Follow the prompts till the connection type screen appears.

• On the software screen, choose USB as the connection type.
• Insert both ends of the USB cable in the respective ports.

A printer without a display can utilize a USB cable for wireless connection;

• Select the wireless connection with USB as the connection type.

• The software will configure the wireless connection.
