Fun Weekend getaways for Idaho
Idaho is a beautiful state to explore, and nothing
beats taking a vacation to see a new place. I've been taking weekend
trips to Idaho from Seattle since I was in elementary school, and there are
still so many places I want to visit. When I take a cross-country road trip,
such as my Seattle to Yellowstone trip, I always make a point of stopping here.
Book a plane ticket to Idaho and plan an amazing
trip to this beautiful place.
1. Sandpoint
Sandpoint is a great place to start if you're
looking for cheap weekend getaways in Idaho with a touch of luxury and plenty
of leisure. This lovely location on Lake Pend Oreille is ideal for couples,
solo campers, and everyone between. This city is ideal for a long road trip from
Seattle. Imagine waking up with views of the Selkirk and Cabinet mountains, as
well as a couple of delightful natural attractions that make each season
worthwhile.
2. Wallace
Whatever your ideal vacation is, whether it's a
honeymoon skiing all day or fun family games around a fire, you're in luck.
Wallace, Idaho, is best known as the mining town with the most silver - or,
depending on your social circles, the centre of the universe. According to
statistics, it is the largest silver producer in the United States. Despite the
manhole cover, the claim that the Earth is the centre of the universe is less
accurate. In 2004, the mayor dubbed Wallace the centre of the universe
"because it can't be not to be".

3. McCall
McCall is an excellent location for almost any
activity. While it is popular with couples for obvious reasons, it is also a
spectacular location to try or master as many outdoor activities as possible.
There are water activities to explore around the corner of Lake Payette. You
could also take a refreshing dip in the hot springs or explore more of
Ponderosa State Park. If you're looking for more adventure, you can go to the
outdoor recreation centre, which is ideal for adventure seekers.
4. Coeur d’Alene
Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, is one of the most luxurious
getaways available. What better place to take your friends and family than to
the Coeur d'Alene Resort, which offers a variety of trails and lake cruises?
The area is also one of Idaho's most romantic getaways, and many visitors
include it on their Pacific Northwest road trip. Visit the Coeur d'Alene Resort
for a day of golf, spa treatments, and swimming in the infinity pool. The resort
is the main attraction in this area, but the area itself has a lot to offer.
