For which purposes can we acquire Network License from DoT?
What
is Network License?
A Network License is a WPC, i.e.,
the Wireless Planning Commission-issued license for those telcos seeking to
operate networked wireless systems. These licenses are special permits for the
Department of Telecommunication's issued licenses. Not much is available
because they are add-ons to the pre-existing DoT licenses. The Network Access
License uses to run their operations in the Telecom domain effectively.
Now let us understand what Networked
Products are. Networked entities are the products for which the DoT allocates
specific frequencies to wirelessly networked products. The proposed licensee
then operates on those wireless products.
