Toyota Porte: A Compact, Accessible Car Designed for Effortless Urban Commuting
The Toyota Porte is a tiny Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV) developed by the well-known Japanese vehicle manufacturer Toyota, which was presented to the public for the first time in July 2004. The Toyota Porte in Japanese is pronounced as Toyota Porte. Only in Japan did the Toyota Porte's first iteration debut on the automobile market. In July 2004, when the first version of the Toyota Porte was manufactured, the automobile was only made available in the Japanese market. Second Generation
The second–generation of Toyota Porte was produced in 2012 and gained a new design. It is also known as the Toyota Spade with a 1.3-liter 1NR-FE engine and an improved 1.5-liter 1NZ-FE engine similar to the first-generation. The second generation is equipped with the Continuously Variable Transmission-intelligent (CVT-i), a smart stop feature available for the 1.5L engine versions, and an automatic transmission. It offers a fuel economy of 20.6km/L for the 1.5-liter variants.
In 2015, Toyota replaced the 1.3-liter engine with a 1.5-liter 2NR-FKE engine, featuring a front-drive wheel layout and a fuel efficiency of 22.2 km/L.
