Providers should be liable for ID theft
I got a call the other day from (a banking company). They were wanting to sell me a credit monitoring service for $13 a month that would notify me each time something bad happened to my credit report. The benefit of the program — as told to me on the phone by the salesperson — was that this service would enable me to spot quickly if someone was trying to steal my identity.
After declining the offer I did a bit of thinking about the service and came to the conclusion that (this company) is basically victimizing consumers while pretending to give a rat’s behind about the whole identity theft problem. I may be wrong, but I think I have realized the perfect solution to the identity theft problem. Read Here
