"Fear is The Biggest Obstacle in Life"

For these reasons, I always say that fear is the biggest obstacle in your life - not your financial situation, your upbringing, your daily nine-to-five grind................And your fears are generally unfolded........

Think about what l have just stated when you take the time to analyze what you have done in the past to help your success and what have you done to hinder it.  You will recognize changes you could have made and steps you could have taken to make your life more remarkable.

But l have something to share with you and l am firm on this demand: You need to stop dwelling in the past.  Otherwise you will never make full use of your great potential that we all have within our self.............

You need to focus your mind and actions on the future, in order to move forward you need to look at your past, "BUT" At be lament about past failures or any aspect of your past.  So have a good look at your life in a very objective way and determine what you can do right away to start making positive changes.....

My mind is working over time, l was thinking about this all day today and then l decided to write about it.  I had few members at work and l was listening to them when l came up with this after hearing all they had to say......

I told them that the pass is something that you will never change but the only thing you could do from the past is learn from it.......I used some of my failures and told them what l was going through they just looked at me................See it works and l walked away................

I enjoy this article and have reviewed it many times, it honestly makes a lot of sense to me, when you really think about it.   What is really stopping us from success..

I think we all know that answer...............all you need to do is look at a mirror and you will see the answer.....

The bottom line is if we can over come this then the sky can be the limited. We are in full control of our emotions and decisions we make each and every day of our life's....so understand our fears and over come is a solid step for understand the true meaning of success..............success can never be measured by money........

Fear is a major obstacle for so many people. Fear of change, fear of failure, fear of commitment, the list goes on, as for everybodys fears that is holding them back too reach their full potential is different.
I try to remind myself of this fact as often as possible, but sometimes it is real hard to overcome. Your article reminds us to push those fears aside, and not to dwell in the past.
Once again a great read Joseph, and a lesson that can be learned by many.

I agree, that was great advice from your father. It is easy to forget such simple truths. Or sometimes pride gets in the way.

Fear is all about our attitudes, Yes it has a way of preventing us from being the very best we can be.....all we need to know is how we can adjust our attitude and move forward......When l lost a very large amount of money in one of my business, l will never forget what my dad told me.....Joe you want to see the problem go to the washroom and you will see the problem in the mirror.............so l took his advise and wow l seen it was me and my attitude......god l miss him and his advise.....gla

Talk about the right thing at the right time. I feel so much guilt about all the things I haven't done in recent months. All that guilt prevents me from seeing fear is blocking me from moving on with peace, and accomplish the tasks. There a few things in life that are really good reasons for fear, if it's not a physical threat or fear of being in an uncomfortable financial situation. Thanks, Joseph.

What is "FEAR", it has a different meaning for each of us totally different. It can motivate you or it can destroy you depends on your build up. Fear to me is motivation it provides me with what l need to get what l need done.......................but we are talking about me it may meaning something else to you.

All l know is we have a lot of "FEAR AHEAD OF US".......................The whole world has changed drastically with all that is taking place................

Fear? That can be a good thing as well. It is a "protection instinct"

Now the "fear" of trying something new ~ if one is inspired ~ "just do it"

You're right Joseph, there's nothing like going into the back garden and
picking fresh veggies for dinner. They taste so much better than the
bought ones.

At the moment, I'm nurturing the fruit trees, and hoping for a good
crop. There's also a very small new apple tree which I grew from seed,
because we loved the apples we bought. Hope it comes true to form
when it eventually bears fruit. In the meantime, we'll enjoy watching
it grow.

Gardening is very relaxing, and I enjoy getting my

Hello Jean,

It certainly has been a very longtime since you and l have had the opportunity to share our feelings on here. Yes l been away for a longtime but have missed my friends here at “APENSES.” Times have certainly changed our thinking and how we live and spend our hard earned money. You seem to understand the cut backs you had to make to make it all work out for you and your family.

Having a garden is not only a way of saving money, but also providing you with good ea

Hi Joseph,

Certainly am trying to live with it! My superannuation has shrunk dramatically,
but there's nothing I can do about it. Perhaps it will grow again in the next
couple of years before I need to get it out.

As to the financial gloom, at the moment, I'm coping, and planting more veggies
in the back garden. :-) Maybe that will help.

With all that is going on in the world today one should have nothing but “FEAR,” it is all bad news no matter what TV station or Radio Station we listen too. They all sound like the same recorder, being played over and over and over again. The media has the ability to create and plant the most negative thoughts in each and everyone’s mind.

You would almost think they have the ability to brain wash our thoughts and create the fear of what is happening in the world at this m

Sharon,

Thank you for your kind words, yes fear has away of surrounding all of us in one weay or another. Resulting in our ability to not living up to what we are capabile of doing and what we can achieve if we only knew how to over come our fears.........

Hello Joseph,

I agree totally with your blog on fear. I have many people in my life who live daily in fear of everything around them. I pray that one day they will see what a waste of time it is. I believe that if you have faith you do not need to live in fear because each second of life is precious. We must live life like each moment could be our last. I know that can be difficult in this busy life we lead, but we must remind ourselves that there is a greater power controlling things. Tha
