My life started out rather simple and ordinary like most people. I was born shortly after the start of WWII. My father, who is still doing very well at the age of 94, was a pilot who flew in the bomber wing that dropped the bomb on Hiroshima.

Once he left the service, we moved to a small town named Wilson, Arkansas, a town of about 18,000 population 60 miles south of Memphis, TN. where I grew up and graduated from high school.

We were your average middle class family and my Mother and Father
