Achal studied in India and after graduating as a MBA from FMS, University of Delhi in 1984 started his career with ICICI as a Project Finance Officer. He then joined American Express Bank as a Corporate Banker and then HSBC as Regional Head of Investment Banking, Northern India. As part of her achievements, he was associated with major IPOs and financings including Nestle, Dabur, Arvind Mills, Ranbaxy and others.
