Official - Suggestions to APSense
The last few weeks, we have had many users posting and submitting suggestions to us all over the site and our emails. This is why we decided to create this subject, where everyone can post their suggestions to APSense all in one place.
PLEASE NOTE:
We always appreciate and encourage your suggestions, however we will not debate about them in public. We will include all suggestions to our list and will consider them if it is possible and beneficial to APSense as a whole.
Thank you for you support and making Your APSense the #1 Business Social Network!

lol...
Juenelle,
I was talking about some topics started in the "APsense group" actually. I looked at your blog as a "Petition" (group) as opposed to an "idea" (single).
Sorry for the confusion...

Hi again,
i just couldn't resist adding this thought.
San - yes it would be lovely to have everything tidily in one place. But on the Official Group?? LOL
Some of us come from countries which have been or are dictatorships. And some of us are just plain rebellious. "Official" sounds like rules and regulations. or working for the Government! LOL
Kristian - i personally promise that I will try to post any serious suggestions for improvements etc on the Official Group. But please don't

Hi Jenny,
Yeah, i would agree. It is very professional of management here to take ideas on board without publicly debating them.
I sometimes get the impression from some topics that some are looking for a "pat on the back" from management for coming up with an idea rather than mentioning a thought that might improve a members experience... it takes all kinds i guess...

Personally, I like the idea of the suggestion all being in one place. I think also it is right and proper that managment don't get involved in public debates. I have yet to find a single time when management have not listened to the members here at Apsense, and I see no reason why that would change. Putting suggestions in one place just makes life easier for all concerned. Everyone can see them, and add support or not, so everyone will know which are most popular.

Hi Kristian,
Nice to see a place added for suggestions . And it certainly makes very real the ApSense advertising statement that the Community will be member led.
I interpreted your comment the same way as Eric has done - that management wont publicly debate. That sounds correct and professional to me. i am happy that they read and listen and consider the points they read.
However it is great that the members can discuss and debate. Although I too understand it would be easier to have

P.S. The more I learn about APSense the more awed I am by it.

Thanks, Eric. If you're right, then I misunderstood him. The debate we had on the "dropping and topping" subject was successful and they're dropping "dropping!" *Grin. I'd love to see more debates like it by the members. Not only is it educational about APSense and fun when lots of members join in, it gives you a chance to get to know the members better in a companionship setting and where they're coming from.

Suggestion:
Would it be possible to automatically eliminate the Multiple "Re:'s" from Mail replies ?
So instead of reply subjects looking like - Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Hi!
Its simply - Re: Hi!

Hi Rusty,
Don't quote me, but what i think Kristian is saying is APsense Management won't debate the ideas, i'm guessing its a good thing for members to debate...

Being an APsense member only a few days leads me to my first suggestion for the APsense creators. You have what i feel is the most innovative site on the internet. My suggestion is go slow with changes. As the ol saying goes 'If it ain't broke don't fix it'. Just a wonderful network that i am truly proud to be a part of.

THANK YOU and the other founders for creating Apsense!! I cannot tell you how much I enjoy and benefit from this site! Hits at my "off Apsense" web sites have increased dramatically since I created my ABC! I have made a number of good contacts from all over the globe that I really appreciate! And I thank Lynn for inviting me here.
My only suggestions at this time would be:
1. private groups are allowed the option to eliminate the Drop feature within their group,
2. A little more sp

I don't know, Kristian. Your idea is certainly practical, and probably a lot easier for APSense to handle; but I have enjoyed some of the debates regarding suggestions and will probably miss them. I think the debates should give you a better idea of what your subscribers want. Is it the "topping" and "dropping" debate the reason for this idea? I thought it was a great debate and I enjoyed. Maybe I'm just weird.
