What is Lemon Law?

Lemon law is a type of consumer protection law that offers remedies to buyers of defective vehicles, commonly referred to as "lemons." These laws exist at both the federal and state levels. Under this law, if a vehicle cannot be repaired after a reasonable number of attempts, the manufacturer is required to replace it or refund the purchase price.
