Banner adds
Hello,
one more question to the administration here.
I placed today an banner add with 600 credits volume.
The credits are gone within 5 hours so far, but nobody visited the website.
There is a counter... and I placed only here an add... how that can happen?

Hi Claudia,
Same principal for text ads but they only cost 1 credit per impression.
And there are a lot of text ads so your credits last longer.
It does also mean that your text ad is shown less frequently as well though.

About the three credits I have known off course, but I thought for clicking, not for just be shown.
I that the same with the text adds?

Well I am not management but I can answer the question for you.
It costs 3 credits per banner impression. so you had 200 impressions.
A banner impression is it being shown on a page not it being clicked on.
There are over 11000 members and there are a lot of members online all the time so thats a lot of pages being seen.
I think not enough people are using banner impressions and this is why they get used up so fast. I see exactly the same when I add credits to mine.
