I'm not sure I'd want to be on that site. I spammed here without realizing I was doing it. I don't think I'd like being charged $50 for an unintentional action.
They are probably very new and have not been taught better as yet.
There are those that teach people to post everywhere they can. What they don’t tell the people they are teaching to do this is the consequences of doing it. One being alienation as you point out, although there can be far more serious consequences such as being banned from the sites they are doing it on and possibly being reported to the program owners for spam and so losing their account.
I don't understand why people do that. There's no purpose to it. All you do is alienate people instead of making friends and developing relationships. The later is much more profitable, and I have several friends that I met in a program I was in 10 years ago that I still correspond with today. That to me is more valuable than anything. They're from New Zealand, Sweden, Ireland, New Hampshire USA and Australia. To me, they're pure gold and wonderful people. We email weekly, telling about o
Yes the person concerned was going crazy posing the same ad in various threads and also posted multiple posts in th eAPSense Group that were blatant spam ads.
They also posted in 17 other groups so there could be a lot more of their spam posts deleted over the next few hours as group owners find them.
Thanks, Bill. I know that for awhile I was getting an "I am new" message from the same person several times. I didn't even think of spam. I just thought that, like me, she was new and wasn't sure what she was doing.
So, you get an error message for one you receive but has been deleted for spam or some other reason. Well, I've already reported my problem to the "Contact" people, but if I get anymore, I'll just ignore them and see if further messages are received okay.
Hi Rusty if it is a notice of a posting of a new topic then no one
it is probably a post that has been deleted because it was spam.
ther were several deleted today from the APSense group all posted by the same person.
Thanks, Thea. The people here are really very nice. Usually a "Contact" is put into a webpage simply, I think, because it's the thing to do but the website doesn't really wanted to be contacted. Or at least they make it so difficult for you, that you sometimes give up in frustration.
This Contact Us seems very friendly and I put in a request to them.
At the bottom right-hand of your Aspense page you'll see a link that says 'Contact'.

It could be even worse then that Rusty. On some sites, they will charge the spammer $50 or more per unsolicited message sent.
