Hey Gang. I have a general question/comment about assigning administrators to an Apsense group. Although I have no problem assigning certain people who apply, it's obvious to me that everyone can't be accepted. After all, If you have 10 members in your group, you shouldn't have 10 admins, should you?? I figure maybe 1 adminstrator per X number of group members may be a good rule of thumb depending upon the group size. What do you guys think? All related comments are welcome. Mark,
Yes, just click the decline button next to their name, and they will be removed as admin. Lynn

Thanks again, BJ.

So, we as group owners have the option to remove admins who are not participating or just in it for the exposure...right??

Hi Mark,

I have to concur with Lynn.
Although not applicable to all, the extra exposure it will get them is in some cases the reason behind applying to be an admin.

Thanks, Lynn.

That tells me a lot. Personally, I'm only an admin on a few groups, but I try to make sure that I'm somewhat active on all of them.

There are no rewards offered by apsense for being chosen as an admin. But their name is listed under admins for the group and many want to be admins just to have their name listed there. It is added exposure for them. Lynn

Thanks BJ.

I don't like the idea of assigning someone who's not giong to be there.

By the way, does Apsense offer some sort of reward for those who are accepted as group admins?

If so, this may be the reason why many apply because some of the admins are never heard from again after being accepted.

Thats just my two cents. :-)

Thanks In Advance.

Hi Mark,

This was covered in a previous post some time ago.
The outcome of the discussion was that its your group you decide who you have as administrators and how many.

It was also said as you mention that there is no point in having lots of administrators when you do not have many members.

When setting up a group you can switch on or off the accepting administrators and it was general consensus that it was best to leave it off to start with until your group has grown to a size that
