The new feature seems to have intergrated well. I noticed the "Top it" button floating around a couple of different places but it seems to have settled in a good spot. I'm looking forward to seeing how this works out... Does the Top it - Drop it feature only apply to main subject posts or replies as well ? Eric.

Hi Eric,
Close enough to the same topic, as it is covered in the other thread. We are trying to stop similiar threads from being posted. It makes it easier for staff to reply to members concerns. The reason for the edit in brackets was to stop further threads. Lynn

Hi Lynn,

I guess this topic is directly related to Top it or Drop it - The one you mentioned is about General Updates (bracket edited to Top & Drop).

I'd suggest that "Top It" means you think it's a good read and "Drop It" means you were disappointed by the blog.
I've got quite a few blogs and notice I have no Tops or Drops as yet. Perhaps lots of people are a little unsure of how to use it.

Hi...

I thought I understood the top it or drop it schema as well ... at least as it pertained to Group discussions...

But I just went to Hot or Not the websites and when I clicked on another person's website for their Products and Services and then clicked on a specific product/service... There it was... a Top or Drop it icon/click ...

what right do we have to top it or drop it on their website?

Rating it gives us points and we can leave a testimonial and possibly constructive crit

Someone correct me if i am wrong, but i think it basically means the more "Top" votes a subject gets, the more popular it becomes. If a subject is SPAM or not relevant and it is "Dropped" then it will become less popular and move to towards the bottom of the list...

I dont really understand what 'top it' means?
Does it mean just that you have a comment to add or does it mean that you think you can better it??
Also, does the person know you've dropped it and what will you have dropped?
The whole group?
Sorry if I am a bit 'dense' about things like this!
And when I say 'you', I dont mean 'you' personally Eric, I just mean 'everyone' in realtion to the sublect!
Tracy.
