A big thanks for reading this and a warm hello from Spain.
So many people moan to me that they can't get referrals, yet they are guilty of bombarding my various inboxes with utter nonsense.
My mother, God rest her soul used to tell me... "Edward there is no such thing as can't, only the word can. You can do what ever you want in life when you put your mind to it"
And boy, is that so true. So for all these can't refer numpties out there. First of all if that is really your mindset, GET OUT of marketing NOW, you will never make it, end of story.
For those that want to make it, go and get personal....
Taking bad action is actually worse than taking NO ACTION...
People message me with no introduction, and just spouting forth the standard hype of their 'opportunity'.
Why should I take my time to click and look at their link if they have not even taken the time to address me by my name, or visited my profile to see if the program is even a fit in the businesses that I do do.
So get personal peeps, know your connections and tailor make your messages. Give me a reason why your business would benefit me ... If not take the high road and expect to receive more of the same in terms of no referrals....
Make and foster 3-5 new relationships a day and then tell me you still can't get referrals !!
