English is the third (3rd) most spoken language in the world. however due to population and numbers, Chinese and Spanish is the first and second most spoken languages in the world respectively.

For educated class, English is the most preferred language both spoken and for correspondence. But according to my observation for Pakistani and Indians, Urdu is the preferred language while travelling in other countries because there are a lot of Pakistani Indian migrants settled there.
