@Cindy - okay I see, that sounds really interesting and will work well together, thanks for sharing, I will check out your blog.
@Franto - hello how are you doing? yes most of my product review type stuff was on a site called "squidoo" which closed down and I was'nt able to download my content in time. right now most of my gigs happen word of mouth and I just started using social blogging platforms to reach a wider audience, you can see most of my articles on IBO http://www.ibosocial.com/blogger
@Angie, have you done much in terms of article marketing to promote affiliate products ? I'd like to read some of your things, if you have ... are you advertising on Fiverr, or where do you find most of your clients ?
@Angie...... I have a blog about Diatomaceous Earth (DE)... which is a product that is good for everyone and everything... one of the things is to eat it for good health.. the product that I have fallen in love with is something that I have been adding to my DE smoothie....it is a Green Juice product... So to me these 2 things really could go together on the same blog.... Still thinking of which way to go though.. in the mean time I have been posting about the Green Juice right on the DE blog..
@Cindy - Your welcome, can you share with us what niche you are thinking of using? I could write articles for you, off page stuff on other sites I belong to.
@Cindy - sub-directories are part of your hosting site directory tree and get added on to your domain name, but you can also add a sub-domain BEFORE your domain name to give your domain name some variations, but not as many as you can have as sub-directories. As an example: a domain name is cars.com - a sub-domain could be new.cars.com, old.cars.com or used.cars.com .... and each of them could have their own sub-directory like ... cars.com/parts/engine etc. each sub-directory should have an inde
Hello Cindy, you have asked a good question, in my experience "Sub-Domains" are a great way to expand on a topic and build it up as an authority whereas "Sub-Directories" is used more for organizing your topics. See this article, I think it really gives specific reasons for using both: https://mainpath.com/putting-end-to-subdomains-vs-subdirectories-debate/
Hope that helps and have a lovely day.
If your blog has many other products you are promoting, a sub-domain would work great. Think of it as a recipe.... A domain can be your meal - the sub-domains are all the parts to the meal. Or dinner is the domain. Where courses would be the sub-domains.

It depends on what you need. Sub-domain will have less juice than sub-directory.
