A security maniac I know recommended Kaspersky, I have used it ever since. It's not free, but I'm building a business, so I prefer to use the best tool available for security. Popular ones like McAfee and Norton buy their code from Kaspersky, so it means Kaspersky users will be protected first.

All of the antivirus mentioned here so far are bad. My suggestion is to use Kaspersky or Bitdefender. Most hackers use Kaspersky and there's a reason behind that. I definitely would not trust my computer with Norton. A total waste of money.

Actually, I use AVG and don't think is the paying version ...The Free version is quite good for my desktop PC. Each year I renewed with Norton for my laptops. Regards
