@Pete, I wish you were right when you say "most are new", but I don't think so. I've had so many discussions with experienced marketers who were upset when I told them not to send me unsolicited links, one even said he had 20 years of experience in networking and had never seen someone complain. I'd say the ones who delete their connection with me are those experienced ones.
Why People do it because they really don't know any better. Most are new just look at the folks on Face book most just post the same thing over and over on there own profiles. Thinking they will get results. Some will wake up but most will not. That's why 95% of marketers on the Internet do not make money on the Internet.
I hate spammers - they clutter up my email box and I have to take time to delete. I automatically delete spam and do not open it. If I open it, I will receive another 10 within the hour.
@Chuck I agree with you my friend, I just think there are better solutions to the problem. By using Leveraged Word Of Mouth you can get even better results from my experience.
My observation is that VERY few really understand the difference between legitimate, REAL advertising and what has become a catchall, SPAM.
We are privileged to have large, very responsive, active double Opt-in lists and those subscribers EXPECT to receive Links regarding products and service they KNOW will benefit them...
BECAUSE that is Why they opted in...

At first, I thought it was a silly idea to post my last comment about the spotlight campaign. Then I realized it was one more way to make the thread appear in the news feed of the people connected to me.
This morning, as I logged in, I had a private message, from, guess what, a spammer.
My answer to him was:
"Please read this" and I gave him the link to the thread here. I wonder what he'll respond, if he does. Maybe he will delete his connection to me, it would hurt my bu
Don, thank you for the subject. It gives me inspiration to make this a topic for me build a product series on...If it does five figures I will cut you a check. We didn't expand on the advantages of spam - how to use their copy writing title as a profit source.
I see your point Mike. I personally have been building a network of friends for over a decade now and find that through barter and trade my income has been increasing and I have developed a plethora of resources that help with financial gain. I have a support base that on an instant notice if I need a boost or a helping hand all I need do is ask and the support I need is there. I may not be rich but I hold my own and the income base will only increase in time. I don't need to push endless junk o
Don, glad you asked...I'm sure you've seen the commercial Angie's list, where she has a site that has all the professions that people rate. Anyhow she use to harass me and others all day long back in the day by email or AOL.
Then I wanted to strangle her taking up all my free time bugging the crap out of me and others. That turned into something big for her. She spammed the right way and it worked.

Awesome Guys!!!! One of the things that has been getting to me lately is links in contact requests. I have also had one of them lately even though I refuse their contact request they are persistent and keep sending a request.... I guess that helped spark this thread.
