I love being a freelance writer because it is by far the best and most fulfilling job I have ever had. I create my own hours, choose my own assignments. Working from home has afforded me the joy of discovering innovative things each day; furthermore, I get to be home and available for my family. It's a powerful yet pleasing and profitable situation all around.
Have done it for past 55 years. But I now know why I chose that Lifestyle at age 17. I agreed to a one year stint into the Corporate World last Year....Not a pleasant experience to be surrounded by robots and Non-thinker employee mindset. The more educated they were the less they knew.
The flexibility is definitely a plus, since the actual work can sometimes be more time consuming than a regular 9 to 5 job, but I can manage the tasks at anytime during the day even at 3 am if I am having trouble sleeping, it is great to have something to occupy my time rather than staring at the ceiling....:)
I enjoy helping people that have either lost their jobs, gotten scammed, and helping people that already have an online business take it to the next level. I also enjoy teaching people how to successfully start their own! :-)

Yes, more time for our selves, no clock, more freedom. But its also our own responsability and risk, we must choose very well the best ways to do it.
