Ironically America IS the globes economy. You CANNOT fix each economy locally. ALL the worlds economy's are collapsing for one very simple reason. ALL of the worlds economy has relied on the greed of Americans. Even the current rise in the Chinese economy, or the internet economy - it is all based on supplying americans.

"Just watch the retaliation from the rest of the world."
This is not a world; it is a country and it is in trouble. It is not going to get fixed by the rest of the world nor by their opinions. One of the biggest problems that we face today is this globalist mentality that people have. People need to stop wasting time on 'global this' and 'global that' and start protecting what they have at home.

Christine, I think the direction you are going in is on point...what sets America apart is simple we have "IN GOD WE TRUST" on our money.
The thing is about our officials is the perversion is so bad that it will make Vegas look like it was on training wheels. They doing young men then women and that's just the clean parts...only a few can take a solid random drug test. There was a Congressman just recently that got caught doing drugs or a Senator.
Wonderful comments here...Now here might be a little different perspective. Perhaps we need to think broader and ask. "what are some solutions for the World Economy".That answer might be for the most part (the solution is America). America was based and establish on our beliefs in God by our own choosing. Our forefathers wanted it that way. That was an investment in an "excellent way". Now we have to reinvest in an excellent way. We are like the "protocol son", we did not use our treasures wisely
Well William, you are going to a lot of kicks to the gut for that one but I think that is a winner! There are more things that I would concentrate on especially education...anytime I actually believe that I have as much sense or more than our leaders then we are in some serious trouble! If everyone is educated better including me all but a few of these guys on all sides would be in office. Thanks!
The U.S. Constitution states that Congress shall have Power. . .
To regulate Commerce with foreign Nations, yet America has given up this right.
America’s commitment to the World Trade Organization gives them the power to challenge and change U.S. trade policies.
This foreign body has little interest in helping the jobless in America. Congress alone should have this power, the United States must withdraw from the WTO effective immediately. Only then
