What are some of the mistakes you made and learned from?

One of my major downfalls is thinking money is the answer. If it isn't working, then I just need to invest more money and get it going. I have literally spent over $10,000 on 2 two different programs trying to run with the "Big boys." I finally stopped it all, walked away, and came back sometime later, and started over.

Philippe, I feel you I tried to write an article here somewhere of one my mistakes that I hope helps somebody. But it's hard to believe you made mistakes so many at that.

Always keep control of the transaction. If you don't have the money, leave the credit card alone. Debt is a terrible master.

To add on your last comment to Rosli, Harry, I would add that if you have to jump on something to make big money now or be left in the dust, it means you're an opportunity seeker, not a business person. IMO, building a business means finding things that work long term to bring stable income, with adjustments here and there of course.

Rosli, sometimes if you're not totally sure about an opportunity then it's better to be late than sorry that you lost something.

Lisa, I stopped dealing with big "G" ages ago. They are out of control on many things and yes there are many, many, many others ways to make money.

I have had several sites shutdown by Google Sites for "presumably" violation of ToS and using Black Hat marketing tactics.

I associated my Google Adsense account with traffic surf for click sites and got permanently banned from Google Adsense that was earning $5 - $10 a day for my site. But all things happen for a good reason. Adsense is not the only paying Publisher out there. There's their infamous competitor - Yahoo...and other little companies that will pay for me to place their ads on my site...downfall? - it's back to the starting line for me. benefit? I have more income potential with so many other publis

Christian, I know this is late but I see so many of those things here that I get sick looking.

My biggest mistake was to invest in cyclers and doublers some years ago. Today I wondering when I see all the people jump in like crazy and promote it like it is the best program on the web.

I know what you mean. Biggest mistake is "Information Overload". Taking in too much from the so called Gurus out there. What I've learned is to stick to one concept and work with it until it works out for you. Changing all the time will just waste time and in the end you'll get nothing done. Stick to one thing and make it work!
