Sd card is write protected, how to solve this issue?

Hi! Dear try to find a switch. Usually sd card reader provide a switch for write protection. some time it doesn't work so slide the switch properly and I'm sure after that it will not give you write protection error.

if that does'nt works follow the below steps

To disable write protect in your removable storage media:


Open command prompt by following method:
Click on “start” in your desktop menu and click on “run”
Then type “cmd” and hit enter.

Now, go to the root of the drive where you have installed your windows
By typing
“cd\” and hitting enter.

And write the following code and hit enter:

reg add “HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\StorageDevicePolicies” /t Reg_dword /v WriteP

start - run -regedit - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Currentcontrolset\control\storagedevicepolicies


in right side u will be getting writeprotect option, just right click that and modify the value from 1 to 0
