There are hardly any sales, referrals not really but comments yes by those connected with us.

Yes i do get referrals, some from members who trust me and my contents. Also some from newbies.

That is highly doubtful, since most of them are blatant pitches or begging for followers. However, when you offer something of real value to your readers and build upon the connections over time, it is inevitable.

I'm new here but I hope I will get more referrals because I have the best sites to make money on Internet on my profile info.:D Check them.
