Must all webinars start with 20minutes of introduction and end in 20 minutes of selling?

Webinars are NOT a waste of time.. they are the closest thing to an offline live event of building relationships IF done correctly...

It's better to be different than others when performing webinars. No specific intro times etc.. if you're unique, different etc. in the way you present yourself, you'll be remembered and that's where you'll prosper in branding yourself as a leader...

Don't pay attention to anyone who tells say there's a set of time limits on intros, conclusions etc... just buil

And checking on the internet there are all kinds of places to find free one if look hard enough....you may get cut off a couple of time but as long as you get you message or POV across, it works.

You need to bear in mind that as with many things on the internet, they are there to make money. A free webinar costs money to broadcast, the 'expert' may need a payment ot a cut of sales generated unless it's their product and you don't get rich giving away all of your product. You need enough of a teaser to make some sales and that's what the webinars generally are. Style over substance.

Yes I feel with being on nthe net for as long I have (10 years), people just want to feel comfortable and want to engage with you trying to find out if you like them are a like mind(s). Spending that time before the webinar starts just a way of socialing and understanding someone needs. Becuase when the event is in session, it best to get all the info and after if you still have an issue or question or comment it just shows that you are approachable believable and relevatively human. At the end of the day some of these webinars are about selling presenter and their products not about helping you. One suggestion is to do a search on the presenter to learn more about them first, it may help you in deciding if you should listen to them or not.

Excellent question. I have learned that many webinars are a waste of time. They are only to sell a product. Attendees do not learn any useful tips. I have noticed the same practice you are describing. In many instances, the organizers will ask you to tune in at least 15 minutes in advance. The only thing you will hear then are the "paid" testimonials of "how the promoter is great", and/or "how the product or service is awsome". It is a pre-talk to condition you as a potential buyer.

I watch at least one webinar per day hoping to learn something that will help me market my site. I can understand the sales pitch, but give me something that will convince me that the product is worth buying. I'm a skeptic, so I don't fall for the hype and b.s. I don't need at 15 to 25 minute introduction of how you used to be flat out broke and homeless then started using this super secret and almost overnight became a millionaire. Give me something I can sink my teeth into!!
