Homeschooling? Why if there are many private and public institutions profiled! There they will get a much better general knowledge and specialized knowledge as well as good habits, discipline and mutual!

Tough question. Thank God my child is an adult. I think it has to do with the school environment. If the school is characterized by guns and extensive bullying and the staff does nothing, my kid is staying home. I'll drive him/her to the "Y" and other places to socialize and have physical workout. With Skype socialization as at your fingertips.

Socialization is one of the top priorities for many parents who homeschool their kids. So although it would seem like an issue it isn't.

I think individualized teaching is good for kids is useful, similar to having a private tutor, but my concern is the socialization part, most home schooled children seem to not have many friends to play with.
