It would depend on if the value fit my need vs the time to fully consume it. Money or other things I can always get at some point but time comes only once.
Let me say that I have turned down enough free stuff to fill a Terabyte Hard Drive, but if I was able to determine the value and it was something I could use, I have no problem with free stuff. I give away a LOT of it myself with no strings attached. I also offer a lot that gets turned down, so it's not all that cut and dried.
Why not? I'd take more if allowed. I always have this mindset that when something is given for free, somebody must have paid or spent for it. When I see people receiving giveaways, I thought of that sponsoring person how he's been blessed and so generous enough to share his blessings to other people. He is at least serving the purpose of putting love to others, which is what the world needs and what the divine creator expects us to give something in return.
