You make that sound so easy.... My problem comes in because it is a wordpress blog. So I have no idea where to upload it to.... as a plug in or a widget... I looked in the editor and didn't see a spot for it..... or do I do it in cpanel? where I bought the domain from which is GoDaddy or in my hosting?.... Child's play to you.. Rocket Science to me

You can upload a file to prove whether you are the owner of the site or not..Please download the file from Google webmaster tools and upload that file in your site's root directory using FTP.

There are sitemap plugins for wordpress. Install one such plugin and get the link of your HTML and XML sitemap. Later submit those links to Google..

Google can be very slow to index new sites, sometimes taking a week or more to do so.

But if you still encounter problems....Get a Google account and use the Google Webmaster Tools to run a diagnostic on your site. It'll show if there are any crawl errors.

Also, log into WP and under Settings -> Privacy, make sure your WP isn't blocking search engines.

Check your page source and be sure you don't still have a "no index, no follow" meta tag. And check for a robots.txt file that is blocking bo
