Every day - I have it connected to my blogs, Facebook and other social media platforms. So for example when I write a blog post it automatically creates a tweet. And if I post a tweet it automatically feeds to Facebook etc.

Personally I use it every day, and have it linked up to my blog, so that the content is channelled through it. Twitter is a much undersused marketing medium, which when used properly, can save you a ton of time, yet attract the people you are looking for as well, by using the right #tags
