Great response, David. You're right on target! However, I'd like to point out a small error - "[You can add any additional paid services that you want, but that blog will remain free.]"
Actually, only Blogger allows you to add additional paid services (e.g. affiliate links etc.) on its free blogging service. Wordpress forbids any such paid offers if you use their free blogging service hosted on their server and will terminate your account if they find out. You may, of course, post any type of

"... yet most NEW people trying to find success on line do not know where to start, or what to start with." True, Shalonda. I do not disagree. But MOST new people search for terms, such as "how to make money with my computer," etc. and find an abundance of free information. Whether they use that information or buy into a scam may be another story all together. Of course, I understand that a lot of people who fall for these large scams, like Empower Network, are doing so through affiliate em

I started my own site and I focused on one thing...offering a service to people and my service is putting in lists of "free" advertising platforms with promo codes. I made a mistake of putting my site in EasyHits4U and got banned by Google Adsense. If I were not banned, I would have been making $5 - $10 a day just doing nothing but to have the site up. I kept updating the site on a daily basis with new items. My website was completely free to host and free domain name for the 1st year from I

Shalonda, I am one of the many that got burned with ZeekRewards. I was making good money and was a real "Believer" in the Zeek Rewards program before it was shut down. Now I am skeptical of programs even if many people are making a lot of money. You have a passion for EmpowerNetwork and you believe it is a great business and service to others. Keep believeing what you believe! Much success to you!

Wow David.. tell us how you feel.. yeah David, you are absolutely correct information is ALL over the internet.. yet most NEW people trying to find success on line do not know where to start, or what to start with. As you are a web designer, graphic designer, internet marketer.. I guess you do not remember what is was like when you didn't know anything about any of your talents.. yet for me.. as a Network Marketer with a niche with Single Moms.. I meet people everyday that simply know how to ch

If you are serious about making a living in anything, and you are starting out, then you need to learn that costs time or money, in my case both.So many voices to listen too some good some not so good. I personally never joined Empower the price put me off. Although I did join other programs that were worthless, for that price I would want domination of the world

Your Profit Connection

Thank you, Shalonda. I agree with your last sentence that it seems your fingers can't keep up with typing what your brain wants to say, so it gets somewhat muddled every now and again, but yeah, thanks for the kind of a clearing up some questions, but based on what you wrote here, my plastic isn't in my hand ready to sign up... it sounds like there's some seriously expensive training ($997..!!) and people who got in early and have the spunk are making big tom. Funny enough, came across videos of

I actually must bow out of this conversation. I cannot add input to this conversation for number of reasons now, but I will keep reading. Don't bother asking... I have personal reasons. I just don't want people expecting any more replies from me :)

Shalonda, I am not misinformed; I'm right on. But you misread my comment. I did, in fact, say that they are charging $25 for it. But what is "it?" It is a free blog. You can get it anywhere for no payment at all. The information that is being overcharged for is also freely available through any search engine (and I do mean legally freely available). Before Empower Network, there was an endless supply of information on Facebook, list building, traffic generation, etc. This is not new. It

Philippe I can certainly understand your point.

I guess the real question at this point would be.... what kind of keywords are you targeting if you can share that Shalonda Gordon?

I don't need to know what you make money from nor do I care, but I actually agree with Philippe here on this. If the keywords you are trying to obtain with google all relate to EN I would need to know more about the social interactions on the site.

If you are targeting words that have no relation to empower, I don

That's what I have not seen yet, Bruce, testimonials that people make money at EN from other things than selling the EN products/training.

Maybe I haven't looked hard enough, after all, I am not at EN either.

until now - I have refrained from comment as I wanted to give shalonda a chance to speak, however now its my turn. I am not speaking from personal experience with EN but rather with experience of understanding communities.

First of all if you are experienced and looking at empower network - don't think it can replace your existing blog or website because it can't nor should it. What it can do however is create a supplemental place for you to filter traffic.

I think it was about 11 or 12 years

Philippe, as this time I'm only marketing EN. So the answer is yes, simply because I'm not marketing anything else. I didn't start building EN until June 2012. I'm sticking here and building up my brand. I looked at the numbers and had to stick with what brought the greatest ROI, and right now that is EN.. keep smiling

Oswald.. and I agree with you guys on that 100%.. yet MOST people don't come out the gates with the knowledge to accomplish this task. See as I'm really not the average "newbie".. due to the fact that I have my own "land" (hosting, site, autoresponder) I guess I more or less see that EN is a great avenue to get a person that knows nothing about what we do.. the ability to learn and make money while building the long term vision. See we must remember EN is an affiliate program.. I believe it adds

Shalonda, thanks for the detailed explanation and good for you to be successful at promoting EN and earning from it.

However, the points raised by David, Ana (on her blog) and me are still valid and bang on target. I reiterate that it would be far more economical (and lucrative) in the long run to set up your own WP blog with your own domain and hosting. The other important aspect with your own setup is that you have CONTROL over the functioning of your blog. If you wish, you can monetise it in
