I like that line and its true. I started doing better when I decided to carve my own path. I do read publications of successful marketers such as Bruce and others in the co-op but ... I do not follow blindly what they say. I think about it first.
My experience is not like most peoples. I grew up on the internet. I was of the first people ever online. I was around 6 or 7 years old when I first got online. There was no www at the time. There were no webpages. The world of the internet ran using gopher and wais protocols an things like rfc (request for comments) were a commonplace at the time. Most people now won't even understand the meanings of the words I am using.
