Not truly...but it seems there are so many ways a person can be spied upon, so many potential (government) files on everyone, WHY BOTHER worrying about Facebook and the other social platforms.

Yes! Simply because you are a needle in a hay-stack with social media. For something to go wrong the odds are enormous.

Perfectly safe and after over a decade I have NEVER had anyone solicit me for money and get it. My God, just because it's the Internet doesn't change anything.
