@Emma Gregator - thanks for the additional info and not having actually read all the entries that appeared when I Googled it, as Kojo suggested, I wondered if that was not the case....
@Kojo A - nice attitude, my budd, and once again thanks for your contribution.
Thanks Joe Henning. And I guess Emma Gregator has a point. The internet is a risky place to do business so we should try to pay attention to the minor details.
That story just shows how someone is stupid. Quote: "Despite the listing stating it was a photo of an XBox One Day One edition console, Mr Clatworthy said he’d expected to receive the console as it was listed in the video games and consoles category on eBay."
He bid on a photo, he got a photo. No scam involved. He just needs to learn to read.
He got a full refund, even though legally he has no right to one. So all's well that ends well.
I did and found it quite hilarious... and sad too. For the many scams that permeate the internet and many of which are promoted here at APSense, i often wished I could've just received a picture of the cheque I was made to believe I may earn...!! Remember, the fact that someone was sent a picture of what he thought was a real Xbox, doesn't mean everyone gets scammed at EBay.... but I know that is not what Kojo tried to say, you just made us aware of something that happened and I do appreciate th
This topic is still getting attention from some of you and thanks for the feedback. There are ways to utilize EBay if you're a seller to help you make the process work much better - just follow what we do at http://www.leadsleap.com/go/47843.
From Emma: "And the fees are horrific if you're a seller" We have never found that to be true. All sales have a cost of doing business associated and eBay has proved to offer a very good ROI.
If not, we and our clients would NOT be using the service
@Joe obviously jacking up prices is not illegal, it is done every day. I just think some "Value Added" should be the goal if you want to look at yourself in the mirror each day.
