Thank you Jim and Saboor.
Allan, I totally agree with you. The money had to come from somewhere. I guess the most profitable programs are the ones that are able to hide well the income vs payout plans.
Lisa getting back to the programs a couple that are paying me are: Turbo Tycoon and My Browser Cash. I can send you a link if you want to trade signups.
Joe, I am on a Mac using Firefox. That might be my downfall. I do have antivirus and firewalls but I don't think they help because I click on links that phish - maybe...my antivirus catches it sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. I do a routine clean up once a month.
@ Lisa, this can happen if you have viruses and trojan horses on your PC. Be sure your operating system is Window 8, You have all the updates and patches for it, and your anti virus software is updated. Then run your virus scan right away, full scan.
Or that could be it, too. I have no real way of knowing unless I actually go deep and track IP and stuff (which I didn't do). But that's just something that happened when I signed up. I have not touched the account since but I keep getting junk to that email that I stopped logging in for a while.
@Lisa, are you sure Clickbank gave/sold your email to other entities? There are bots that harvest email addresses all over the internet and then send spam. I once opened an email account and let it sit there - I did not use it to sign up for any programs at all. However, I started receiving spam in course of time. Clickbank earns millions of dollars through their processing fees alone so I don't think they will sell email IDs of affiliates.
I do not know of any business that is free to earn money in reality. Your house costs money no matter you rent or own, you have to eat, you must have electricity, plus an Internet connection, plus your computer. Where does free enter the picture??? :-)
I signed up to Clickbank with a brand new email address. An email address that's never been used except with Clickbank. I started receiving emails from other sources other than Clickbank when I did not sign up to any other entities but CB.
Hey Lisa, Oswald is woke up on the wrong side, I guess...Squidoo, Hubpages, Sales Spider and I have to look at the others that is making me money still.
Of course they exist. Haven't you heard of Clickbank, CJ, Payspree, Jvzoo, Revenuewire, Paydotcom and others? They are all free to join and they don't spam your information to third parties. There are affiliate marketers who earn a full-time income promoting affiliate offers from these networks.

Nothing is free. If it is offered for FREE, then someone paid for it. In another way it will be taken back from you at a cost or by other means.
