Why is My Snapchat Locked?

There may be various reasons for which Snapchat locks your account temporarily and if the reason exists ever after a temporary suspension, Snapchat may suspend your account permanently after which there is nothing you can do. 

However, if you got temporary rejection then, it could be because of one of the following:

• You have added too many friends without even verifying your email or mobile number.
• You have engaged in some antisocial behavior with another Snapchat user which is a violation of the Community Guidelines of Snapchat.
• You have (someone else has) tried to open others' (yours) accounts unethically which is a serious offense that comes under hacking and may get your account locked instantly by Snapchat. 
• Or, if you have used a third-party app to use some paid features of Snapchat illegally. 

Basically, if you violate the terms and conditions of Snapchat you get a warning, and later on, your account may be locked.
