In this busy life and hectic schedules that each one of us follows, we cannot afford to keep our mobile devices aside for even a moment. But, just a mobile phone isn't enough to meet our needs to stay connected, for every second of the day, we need to subscribe to a reputable telecom operator and get a plan that will allow us to make calls and surf the net, and that too, seamlessly.  Reputed telecom brands such as Airtel is offering postpaid plans, because of their high demand, and here we have listed the top five reasons for their growing popularity.

1) No Disruption of Services

Once the plan to be used is decided and activated, the subscriber can use the calling minutes and data amounts granted, through the month. If for some reason, the amount is used before the billing cycle is complete, there will be no disruption of services, and the postpaid plans can be enjoyed at an extra cost which will be added at the time the bill is generated.

2) Unlimited Calling Plans

Yes, the word ‘unlimited’ is firmly enclosed in the lexicology of postpaid subscribers, as they can now choose from a plethora of options. Most of these plans offer unlimited local and STD calls, free incoming and outgoing on roaming, free SMS and data amounts depending upon the plan chosen.

3) Pay a Monthly Bill

All a postpaid subscriber has to do is pay the monthly rental at the end of the month. The bill is generated at the end of the month, and will include all the costs in a clear and transparent manner. With the introduction of apps, it is now possible to look up the outstanding amounts, and usages with just a click.

4) Data Amounts are Included

Nearly all postpaid plans come with data amounts, which vary as per the cost of the plan. The data is offered at speeds of 3G and 4G, and allows subscribers fast downloads and seamless connectivity on the go. The one major drawback is that if the data is not consumed it expires, but one telecom operator is offering ‘data rollover’ to combat this problem. With Airtel postpaid plans, unused data of subscribers will be added to the data amount of the next month.

5) Customize Plans and Share with Family

Though not available with all Telecom operators, these postpaid plans are a popular choice. Customizable plans allow a subscriber to choose to increase or decrease data amounts and calling minutes, effectively reducing wastage, as they are entitled to what they will use. On the other hand, sharing plans, allow a primary member to choose plans for a certain number of family members, depending upon their usage. Only one bill is generated for all members.

Postpaid plans not only offer a plethora of benefits such as unlimited local and STD calling but when compared to 2-3 years ago, they are now more affordable than ever before, adding to their growing demand.
