Hi, I am Amit Sharma based from Mumbai, and Now working with an MNC as an IT engineer.
(Best office chair in India): Generally, on average, I spend 7 hours sitting in a chair in my workplace. In my office, they've Herman Miller chairs which are known for relaxation and comfort.
Frequently (1-2 days a week) I take work from home', and in this time that I spend most of the time sitting on a sofa or research seat. At the initial time, I had no problems but later after two months my lower back and neck began to pain. I was adapting bad postures while sitting on a sofa and research chair, which I understood are not intended for extended hour sitting. Therefore, getting an ergonomic seat like my office chair has been the need of the hour
I decided my budget chair of Budget: INR 10-12k and
Feature Requirements:
• Chair height adjustment,
• back tilt,
• revolving chair.
Together with my affordable budget of 10k, Herman Miller, Featherlite, Godrej, and Steelcase were good alternatives to take into account. After lot of marketplace research, I penned down my decision onto the Godrej Motion chair (even though my office had Herman Miller). The decision was mostly influenced by its distinctive and ergonomic layout along with the value-add of Brand"GODREJ" is always a plus.
I wanted a demo of the chair, when I called the customer service number, they advised me to visit Andheri Showroom that is about 15 mins from my location. I saw the showroom and required the demo.
A number of the striking characteristics that caught my attention at the demonstration were its Flexi-seat and rear which assist your body movements. The salesperson told me that the very purpose of the chair is to continue MOVING and showed me the movie. I'm attaching the video for you guys as well.
I bought a High back seat in a Black body and Blue color cloth. The seat has an adjustable armrest and a back tilt limiter.
Pros: Adaptive Back and Seat, Ergonomic seat, Affordable, Different color options, and free installation.
Cons: One-year warranty, No mesh variation.
At the initial 15 days of usage, the seat felt a little uneasy as there was a continuous push from the seat's back. But after using use I started to like this chair, the push out of the rear is assisting me to stay active and moving. I'm grateful Godrej being an Indian brand has established a product that gives a tough battle to its international counterparts.
I would recommend a Motion seat for an extended hour sitting. On a budget of approximately 10k, the Motion chair is worth money.
PS: I am writing this review article 7 months use of Motion chair.
