One of the major reasons that has propelled the Far Eastern Federal University to new heights of popularity is its affordable services. Since 1899, the university library in the Far Eastern Federal University has grown to currently hold more than 2 million volumes in 5-6 languages. Additionally, it also includes scholarly volumes by renowned professors, private book collections, and those on travel expeditions. Many of these have been gifted by other Russian universities.

Creative Outlets

The Far Eastern Federal University understands the need for extracurriculars and, therefore, offers a number of avenues for students to explore their innate talents in the performing arts. 

There are a total of 22 clubs dealing with music (vocal and instrumental), dance (almost all styles covered, including folk and ballroom), and other arts. Some of the clubs and societies here include: -

3. Konfetti = The Circus Confetti Group

4. Legenda = Folk Dance Company 

5. Talisma = University Band

Such is the dedication and quality of these activities that students have managed to win several national and international contests.

Sporting Facilities 

Not everyone has a penchant for the creative, but are interested more in the field of sports. The Far Eastern Federal University understands this fully well and, therefore, offers a plethora of sporting facilities within the campus. These include: -

• 2000-seater stadium

• Basketball court

• Facilities for Martial Arts and Competitive Athletics

These facilities are open to the students as well as the faculty and staff for leisure. These also host a number of international and inter-university events.
